Hi I'm Kim

I'm a mom, an Idahoan turned Hoosier, a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a married, mother of three children. I work as a RN on a Mother-Baby unit, taking care of and teaching new mother's about themselves and their new baby. I love to garden, sew and create new things out of old things. I love to spin at a local gym and also have recently challenged myself to run. I volunteer at the school my children go to and I love to read when I have time.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in and follow Jesus Christ. While I grew up in a home that went to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was baptized a member at the age of 8, I have also read the Book of Mormon and gained insight and direction from it and a testimony of it's truthfulness. I have felt the witnessing power of the Holy Ghost as I have been in the presence of and heard Prophets and Apostles teach of our Savior. The Holy Ghost has witnessed to me in quiet moments, in simple ways that I am a daughter of God, that He is aware of us individually, that I have a Savior who has atoned for my sins and made it possible for me and all other children of God to return to our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I work in women's organization at church, organizing and coordinating compassionate service needs within the congregation. It is a wonderful position in which I get to see lots of people doing lots of really amazing things for and with each other, all in an effort to help each other's loads be a little lighter and bring help to those who need it.
