Hi I'm Colton

Just a normal kid. Living an epic life. Serving my mission in Brasil! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors! If I could live in the mountains I would. I run, bike, hike, and love taking pictures! I do anything I can to get outside. I've hiked Kings Peak and loved every second of it! I went to college for 1 year, got my associates degree. Now I'm on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised LDS (Mormon) and I relied on other people's testimonies. But I have come to know of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for myself. First, years ago (7 I believe) my family took a trip back to New York. We went through the Sacred Grove where Joseph saw the Father and Son. The spirit there, the feeling I had bore witness to me that It Really Happened. I knew it. Second, Reading the Book or Mormon by myself for the first time. As foolish as it sounds, I went to church every week for years and I had never read the Book of Mormon and ask God if it was true. When I finally did, unmistakably the Holy Ghost bore witness to me. Nothing incredible, but I knew. I felt it and I knew. It was a simple answer, and I am so thankful for it! I know that this Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints it true. I know that with every fiber of my being! I know that through it we can receive more joy than we've ever known! I continue to be amazed at the Joy and Happiness in my life! I know that the Book of Mormon is true, I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father, and His Son Jesus Christ. And through Joseph Smith, Christ restored his church to the Earth. I know that we are children of our Heavenly Father and he loves us more than we can imagine! I am thankful for this Church and all it has done for me. For the direction and guidance I have received because of it. It Really Happened.

How I live my faith

With the other Young Men in my church we would have Tuesday night activities! So much fun! Video scavenger hunts, basketball, devotionals, movie nights, really anything that we wanted to do! I looked up to all of the young men that lived around me. Most of them are serving their missions right now too.
