Hi I'm Kyle Standing

I strive to be a Disciple of Christ, known for his Faith. Honest and True to his Friends, Family and our God.

About Me

I enjoy crispy corn dogs with ranch. Rich hot chocolate next to a warm crackling fireplace. Often, I have a hankering for bird watching. The mountain is my sanctuary, skiing pow-dah is the remedy for reality. Above all things of who I may be, is what I must give. Service and love to my friends, family and our God. Families do not end at the grave. Jesus Christ is my best friend, my king and my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

Since the beginning of the fall of Adam and Eve, the Lord has made promises with His children on earth. These promises, or covenants enable us to return to our Father in Heaven. A vital catalyst for the Lords promises or covenants is a pure sacrifice. (Ephesians 2:8,9) As we agree to these covenants we rely on our Savior and His grace, whom is the last sacrifice. (John 6:44) After centuries of being lost, God has restored and established His covenants on the earth once again. (Hebrews 13:8) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints holds the authority to make such covenants in the name of Christ. (Hebrews 8:6) I have come to know by the feelings of the Holy Spirit that the Lord has established a way to live with Him through these covenants and His Grace. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Eph. 3:17 "That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love." If you are reading this, I would like you to stop, lean back, focus and feel of how much God loves you. He has always been there for you. At time we feel forsaken, troubled and even discouraged. "I wish to encourage those who are in the midst of hard trials, finding faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will help us have the power to endure and overcome even the hardest mountains of life." - President Henry B. Eyring. I promise you, He is aware of your troubles and desires the best for you. I live my faith one mountain at a time, rooted in Christ.
