Hi I'm Kourtney

I'm a small town girl. I love to dance, cook, and create. I love to live my life to the fullest. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a little town in Minnesota. I graduated with a class of 85 students, and I was only member in my area. I am going to college at Utah State. I finished my freshman year and then decided to go on a mission. I love to sing, but only when I am alone. I have been dancing since I was three years old. I love crafts and create new art projects. I am just an average girl in a unique way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is true. It is really hard to explain, but you get a feeling that comforts you and makes you realize you are on the correct path in life. In my life it has always been my choice to be a Mormon or not. My parents did not make me, they gave me the freedom to choose. I chose to follow my Heavenly Father, and do everything I can to return to live with him some day. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet. He lead the church and follow what the Lord told him to do. He is an example to me because he was so righteous, even when the rest of the world was against him. He would not have been able to do the things he did if the Lord was not right by his side the whole way. That is how I feel about the living prophet today, who leads and guides this church! President Monson can be a rock for all of us to follow! I know my Father loves and and cares for me as an individual. He cares for me because he answers my prayers. He does have a plan for me. I do know this church is true. I love this church. I love being a Mormon. No matter how hard it can be sometime. I know this what I am suppose to be doing.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission for the church in Nevada. I will be teaching the people there about this church and show and tell them why I am apart of this church. I really live my faith by being an example. That is what I have done all my life and are continuing to be an example. People notice I am different and so they ask why. They see what they could become. I have many opportunities to teach the youth of this church, even though I was still young. I love to work with the youth. I want them to have the experiences I had while I was their age.
