Hi I'm Des

I'm 21 years old. Future sister missionary. Love to laugh and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years old, single and happy. I love going on adventures, enjoy traveling and taking pictures. I love to spend time with my younger sisters. I'm an accounting staff. In my spare time, I love to do scrap booking, compile old photographs of my family, I read scriptures, sing and dance. I have a strong desire to serve God and already submitted my mission papers. There's nothing I want now, than to see my self wearing a badge on my chest.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I prayed about it, I read and prayed if the Book of Mormon is true, and found it to be true. I want to follow Jesus Christ that is why, me and my family decided to be baptized by those who has proper priesthood authority. I'm grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever. I know that this wonderful gospel blesses my life and I found the true happiness in it. I know Heavenly Father loves me and that Jesus Christ lives. So that's why I'll be sharing this gospel with other sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father, because I know that they are also loved by Him.

How I live my faith

I'm a primary teacher ages 8-11 and I love my calling, because I love my students too and we learn together. I can't imagine my life without the gospel. I read my scriptures and attend sacrament every Sunday. I'm living the standards and principles I've learned from my young women personal progress. I'm grateful for the knowledge I have for it made me truly happy and blessed. The gospel is what keeps me going every day.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

one of the greatest reasons of living here on earth is to have "joy". Daily prayer, scripture study, and attending church, will help us better understand that the best way to find joy and happiness in this life is to know about our Heavenly father;s plan of happiness, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to strive to keep the commandments. Families are part of God's plan, they are essential. We want to share this happiness with everyone through missionary work and service. Show more Show less
