Hi I'm Hailee

I am American, I'm a sister, a babysitter, a student, a writer, avid picture-taker and popcorn eater. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a regular teenager and I love to write, hang out with friends, read, and ballroom dance, and shoot my bow. I babysit a lot. I love to watch Full House and Lizzie McGuire and Studio C. I love to go to the temple, and it's super awesome because I live so close to so many. I aspire to become a broadcast journalist and graduate from college, get married in the temple and become a stay at home mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, and I am so glad I am a Mormon. I find truth in his scriptures, and I have felt the Spirit. I know that this church is true, that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, that he died for us that we might have eternal life. I know that the Gospel is true, and I try every day to be more like Him. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I am a member of the LDS Young Women organization, designed for young women ages 12-18. I have previously served as class president in the 12-13 year old class, and I go to mutual each week to participate in activities with the other youth in my ward, sometimes the young men in my ward as well. I attend church every Sunday, and sometimes participate in things like ward choir. I also love doing family history work, a program called Personal Progress in the Young Women organization, and going to the temple.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Hailee
Temples are indeed the house of the Lord. Inside, sacred ordinances and covenants are made that are essential to Heavenly Father's Plan of Salvation. It is a place of prayer, worship and learning. It is a place where the Spirit of God dwells, and where saving ordinances are performed by proxy for the dead. In order to enter the holy temple, you must first be a worthy recommend holder. You can get this recommend by living the standards and commandments of the Gospel and completing a worthiness interview with a member of the bishopric in your ward or branch. Couples and families are sealed for time and all eternity inside the temple. Show more Show less
