Hi I'm Summer

I'm a stay at home, soon to be mom. I love cooking food and playing games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Northern Arizona. I loved getting to be involved in things such as 4-H, Student Council, and summer camps like Especially For Youth. Some of my favorite things include: spending time with my husband, cooking, playing games, reading books, and smiling. I love summer nights spent with friends, roasting s'mores around a camp fire. I love to sing in choirs, but am terrified of doing solos. And my favorite color is teal.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the most important things in my life is my family. I cherish every moment I get to spend with my husband and with our extended families. We are currently expecting our first baby, a little boy, who is due in a few months. We can't wait to meet him and enjoy his little wiggles and giggles. I know that this little baby has been sent to us from a loving Father in Heaven who wants us to be happy. And I know that Heavenly Father has prepared a way for us all to be together again after we have lived our lives and pass away. Families really can be together forever. This statement rings true deep down in my heart. It gives me the strength and hope to keep loving my family the way that I do. I know that no matter what happens, I'll get to be with my husband and little baby again. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given me this knowledge and hope. That is why I continue to live and share this gospel. So I can be with my family forever, and so everyone else can come to this knowledge for themselves as well, and live an even more hope-filled, happy life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example of Jesus Christ. Every day I try my best to do the things that He would do if he were on the Earth. This includes being friendly to my neighbors, or helping them when they need something. I find that I have many more opportunities to help others when I look and pray for them. I know that when I serve others I can come to know Jesus Christ better, through doing those things that He would do. This is not only how I live my faith, but also how I strengthen it.
