Hi I'm Kristen

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I am a mother of two darling children. I love to read, create, and bake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mother! I stay at home with my two children and I love it! When I was in school I went to BYU and studied communication disorders. I worked in a special ed preschool and worked with speech language pathologists there. It was so rewarding working with all those amazing children. Someday I hope to get my masters and continue on in speech therapy. I love to read in my spare time. I also enjoy creating beautiful things for parties, for our home, and in the kitchen. My favorite thing to do is to be with those I love. I am happiest when I have my family and friends with me.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the church is one of the greatest blessings in my life. I don't just go to church on Sunday, I try to live the gospel everyday, in everything I do, and I am so grateful for that. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ. He lived a perfect life and I try to be like him in all that I do. There is so much around us that tries to pull us down and make us fall. I am grateful because I have the knowledge of a plan for me. I am not perfect but I am grateful that I can be made perfect through my Savior Jesus Christ. I have also been given many other gifts to help navigate the world around me. I have the Book of Mormon, which testifies of Christ and teaches me what I need to be doing to return back to my Heavenly Father. It has answers to the questions in my heart. I have the Holy Ghost to teach me and testify to me of the truths that I learn. I am also grateful for a living prophet that is on the earth today, President Thomas S. Monson. He leads and guides this church as a servant of Jesus Christ. I would be lost and alone without the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of this church because I have the opportunity to serve those around me. We are placed on this earth to be instruments in the Lord's hands. I am blessed to work with the youth in the church. I work with the 12-13 year old girls. I help teach and plan activities every week to help the girls develop their own testimonies of Jesus Christ.
