Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a snowboarding fanatic. I LOVE to sing and dance! I vault for the stars and aim for the ultimate goal. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I belong to a family of 13 and am the second oldest of 11 children. I am very active and I love doing things outdoors. Sports are my thing and I love getting to know people and trying new things. I've been to two semesters of college where I am majoring in Health Science, and I am now preparing to serve in the Everett Washington Mission (Spanish speaking)! To help fund my mission I got a job working as an actress at an outdoor musical theater where I had one of the best summers of my life. Music is very important to me and you will always find me humming or singing a song no matter what I'm doing. Family is of utmost importance to me and will never cease to be. . .

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ that I have found within the Latter Day Saint religion has brought me more happiness then I could ever wish for in this life. Through it I have gained a sure testimony of many things, including the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ suffered and died for my sins and I know that He did it willingly. I know that the Atonement is not only for sins and repentance, but is also for sorrow, pain, guilt, anxiety, and any other burden that you feel you can no longer carry. It gives me hope and a joy that I cannot explain. I know that my Savior and Redeemer loves and that He lives. I know also that my Heavenly Father loves me and lives as well. They want what's best for me and want me to be happy. I know that the Book of Mormon is the cornerstone and the basis to this religion and I know without a doubt that it is a book inspired of God and that it is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and I am so grateful that he was ready and worthy to receive revelation from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ instructing him on how to restore the Gospel to this Earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet today and that he is without a doubt the mouth piece of God. I know this Gospel is true with every fiber of my being. I owe it and my Savior and Heavenly Father everything and I will be eternally grateful for the sacrifices that they have made in my behalf. I know these things are true and I will never be able to deny them. In the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Redeemer, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by dedicating my heart, might, mind, and strength to the Lord. My scripture for my missionary plaque is Alma 37:36 which states, "Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever." This scripture has been my motto since the first semester of my freshman year of college. I live my faith by living in accordance to this scripture and basing my life off of it.
