Hi I'm Anthony Reyna

I was born and raised in California, the son of migrant farm workers. I was a sports reporter for 45 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a sports reporter for 45 years and enjoy writing. I also like to participate in competitive sports. My wife and I are the parents of eight children and have 21 grandchildren. I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a full-time mission to Colombia. We have just received a mission call to serve as Public Affairs specialists in the Central America Area Office.

Why I am a Mormon

Shortly after graduating from high school, in the small Central California community of Merced, I was introduced to the Church by some very good friends. During the course of receiving the missionary discussions, I was given a copy of the Book of Mormon and accepted the invitation to read and pray about it, which I did. I received an undeniable response to my prayer from my Heavenly Father, and because of that, I joined the Church. It has been a blessing throughout my entire life and it can be in yours as well.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve in the Church, including my current calling as a counselor in the presidency of the Utah Logan Mission. It has given me the opportunity to meet many wonderful people of many faiths.
