Hi I'm Haylee Smith

I grew up in North Carolina. I am in the 10th grade, I'm an aspiring musician; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'n Haylee, and I'm currently loving it in North Carolina. I live in a family of 5 people; both of my parents, a younger sister and a younger brother. I'm a high school student in the 10th grade, and in the choir there. I love to do pretty much anything to do with music and/or technology, and I want to be a graphic designer/ animator one day! I love to write little stories that pop in my head at random times and I can't help but jot them down. I'm also getting into photography and I get a little too carried away at times! I hope I can one day somehow make the world a slightly better place for people, and to try to make a difference in people's lives.

Why I am a Mormon

Being Mormon has helped me through a lot of hard times. Death of a family member or close friend, my own mistakes, or getting troubled by other's actions. It's kinda hard to explain in words, but it just gives you a sense of peace and joy that I've never felt before outside of my church. It's a solid foundation, unchanging, immovable. People and the world will change, no doubt about that. but this gospel never will. It will never change, and that gives me a sense of peace that I have something and someone to turn to if I ever need help. And I can testify that this gospel is the true church on the Earth, and that God will listen to you, and will never forget about you, even if you think He has. He never will, and that I can testify of.

How I live my faith

I'm all about service. If someone needs help getting something done, I'm there! I help out my community by participating in my friend's Eagle Scout projects and also helping out in whats called Day of Service. That's when you go with a group of people and go to organize an entire day to just help other's who need help. Also helping to break the World Record for the World's Largest Food Drive is something I'm proud about! I also try to be nice to everyone around me. Setting a nice example to those who I interact with everyday sets a good impression on not only myself, but what I stand for.
