Hi I'm Elizabeth

I grew up in Utah. I love writing, baking, and playing soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in central Utah. I have lived on a farm most of my life, raising dairy sheep and working hard. I am the sixth of ten children and I have loved growing up with family all around me. I just graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and am excited to go to college after I get back from my mission to Wisconsin. I love reading and writing. I enjoy being outdoors and I love playing soccer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that as we study it's words, along with the words of the Bible, we will be able to receive the strength and power of God in our lives. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for each of our sins and pains, and that because of that he is there to help us through what ever we may face in this life. If we are willing to turn to him and receive his help we will be given a chance to receive Eternal Life and live with our Father in Heaven and our Savior again. I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father and that he wants us to be happy in this life and in the life to come, and because of that he gave us this gospel as a way to return to live with him and experience a fullness of joy.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. I love being able to share my experiences of how my faith has strengthened me and brought me closer to Christ. Overall I live my faith by striving to follow the example of Jesus Christ and help those around me to feel of his love.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

We proselyte so that we can share the happiness we have found in the gospel. We believe that God has given us an amazing gift, and commanded us to share that gift with everyone around us. We spend time going from door to door and talking to everyone we can because we want everyone to enjoy the peace and happiness that comes from accepting this gospel. In short, we share this message because we know it is true and can change lives. Show more Show less
