Hi I'm Dahlin

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I love my family, friends, and the outdoors. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I graduated from High School in 2013 and plan to attend college when I return from my mission. I played football and wrestled while in high school and love to play soccer with my friends. I enjoy snowboarding, wakeboarding, four-wheeling, and camping. I love to go to movies with my family and eat at Cafe Rio. My favorite treat is Yogurtland. I earned my Eagle Scout Award in 2010 and it has helped me to serve my family, friends, and neighbors.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe I was converted to the gospel when I was in high school and attending seminary. My teachers were amazing and I learned to love the scriptures and believe in the power of the Book of Mormon. I gained a strong testimony of Joseph Smith and believe that he saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is called of God and is the true prophet on the earth today. When I listen to General Conference I find answers to my prayers and know the messages are from our Father in Heaven. He is telling us what we need to do in order to live righteously and avoid temptation. Through scripture study, prayer, and attending church, my testimony grows stronger every day and I can not wait to share my testimony with the people in Chile. I have been preparing for my mission for many years and I will finally get the opportunity to serve the Lord and love the people in Chile. I can hardly wait for October 23!!

How I live my faith

I love being in the young men's organization and feel it's an honor to hold the priesthood. I have served on several quorum presidencies and was just released as the priest quorum 1st assistant. In this calling I learned to love the young men in my ward and to be a good example for them. We completed many service project together and learned to love the older single sisters in our ward. I have been home teaching with my father for 2 years and love to share my testimony with other members in my ward. I enjoy teaching the gospel and tellng personal stories about how the gospel has strengthened me in tough times. This past few months, I have been getting together with friends to read scriptures at 6am and attending the temple weekly. My family has gone to do baptisms for the dead and the feeling of being in the temple with my brothers is priceless. The spirit is so strong there and it reminds me that we will be an eternal family.
