Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love learning, and always have enjoyed school. I love to create new things whether it's in the form of music, gardening, painting, or other crafts. Being outside in nature brings me great joy, for all things denote there is a God. His masterpieces are everywhere, in the sculpted mountains, a delicate butterflies wings, or a sunset. I recognize His hands in my own life. In all I do I wish to follow His will, testify of Christ, and be a little better each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up a member of the church, and it has brought me so much joy. Each time I read the Book of Mormon, I am filled with peace. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God's restored Church on the earth today, and I know the Book of Mormon is true. As I pray the Lord testifies to me these things are true. This gospel teaches us that God is our loving Heavenly Father, families can be together forever, Jesus Christ performed the Atonement so we all can be cleansed from sin and live again. I know the Lord is always there for me, and I know as I turn to Him He will guide me to lasting peace and eternal joy.

How I live my faith

I've been in youth leadership callings in the church, and been able to befriend and provide service on many occasions. I spent this summer as a missionary in Nauvoo Illinois, which is a city the early saints of the church established in the 1840's. There I was able to share my testimony of the gospel, and bring joy to other as I played the trumpet in the Nauvoo Brass Band. Because of my desire to continue to share the gospel and serve the Lord, I am going on an 18 month mission to Mexico. While serving my mission I will be able to love and serve others and teach them about the blessings of the gospel.
