Hi I'm Tara Sampson

I'm 16 years old. I 'm a high school student. I'm a swimmer. I'm a lacrosse player. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 16 years old and I'm going to be a junior in high school. I swim and play lacrosse. I have a 3 siblings, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to live the Gospel because I love it and I know that it's true without a doubt. I was born into the church but that doesn't mean I love it any less. I have had many experiences, especially recently, that have assured me the Church is true. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us more than we could ever comprehend. I know that everything happens for a reason and that our Heavenly Father needs us to obey because he uses us to meet the needs of others, the best way to serve our Lord is serving others. I know that it's that small and simple acts that matter in the end, they add up to unimaginable outcomes and you never know the effect you have on people. I know that the atonement is real, we can always repent for mistakes we have made and we never need to feel unworthy because our Heavenly Father loves us unconditionally. I know that we have commandments and rules because they don't keep us from being free, they allow us to be free; they allow us to have the greater blessings in life.

How I live my faith

I currently do not have any callings, but I still serve in my Young Women's by acting as an example and as someone that people feel free to talk to, confide in, and someone that will always be their friend. I love serving others and I'm very excited to go on my humanitarian trip next summer. I love serving others in small ways too, such as sincerely complimenting others and listening to the Holy Ghost's promptings so that Heavenly Father can use me to answer other peoples prayers. I love going to youth activities like Mutual, Youth Conference, EFY, etc.
