Hi I'm DJ Espinoza

I was born and raised in Heber City, Utah. I will be serving a mission in Villahermosa, Mexico, Feb. 5th, 2014.

About Me

Hello. I am an 19 year old girl. I was born in the Heber City "old" hospital and I have lived in the same home forever. In fact, my mother has always lived on the same property as well. Our house was transformed from my grandfathers milking barn into our home. I love where I live. I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, sewing, quilting, pretty much anything that causes adventure. I recently received my mission call to Villahermosa, Mexico and I report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Feb. 5th, 2014. I am a college student and will receive my General Associates degree at the end of this fall semester. I am an Ambassador for my college and I love showing my leadership in that way. I love public speaking and have a love for showing what I know to be true to others, especially through my testimony. I love to spend time with my family and especially my 2 year old niece. All my siblings are married except for me and that is okay with me for now. I love spending time with my close friends laughing and reminiscing on high school adventures. I love being me and showing others who I am and who I want to become.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? It's simple... the blessings. Being a Mormon means that no matter what you are going through, the Lord is right by your side. It means that no matter what you have done in your life, through his Atonement and the repentance process, you can be made clean again. The reasons that I have chosen to serve a mission are great. When I think about the blessings and the love that I feel and have everyday, I want others to be able to experience those things as well. I want others to know and understand how I get by on a day to day basis. I want to share my testimony with the people of Mexico, because I know how much better their lives will be if they only had the gospel. I continue to live and follow His gospel everyday because I know what it is like to not have the spirit by your side. I have a very strong testimony in families are forever through the church. I continue to live to gospel so that I can go through the temple which is the house of the Lord. I recently received my endowments in the Provo, Utah temple. It was the most beautiful and spiritual day of my life. The blessings that have come from the temple is and are amazing. I want everyone to be able to enter the house of the Lord and that is another reason why I am a Mormon :) so that I can bring others unto this faith and help them to enter his home.

How I live my faith

I am so proud to be a Mormon. I am currently a visiting teacher with a return missionary and love every minute of it. I am able to learn a lot from her about mission work and how it will help me to be a great missionary. I am very involved with my ward and my stake when it comes to preparation classes such as Temple Prep and Mission Prep since I will be leaving soon for my mission. I love sharing my testimony of the faith in Christ that I have and in his church.
