Hi I'm Preston

My favorite type of exercise is done in the kitchen; cooking, and in the mountains; hiking.

About Me

I think I could compare my hobbies and interests with a soccer ball, well-rounded. Speaking of soccer I would have to say it is my favorite sport. I have played around with a soccer ball year round ever since I was a young boy. Inside the house and outside. I just spent a year going to college, developing a big curiosity on what my field of study might be, but I've not yet declared a major.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was little I took my small nearly translucent yellow shovel and made headway right into the ground. Being a privileged, yet hardworking young 5-year-old, I took advantage of having a two acre dirt field for my backyard. It enthralled my young possibilities to see how malleable the earth proved itself to be. Although the shovel's spade was probably the size of a grown man's hand, I felt nothing short of a monumental status creating my own pile of dirt. Nowadays I have grown into a body to utilize a shovel of standard size but the accomplished feeling still fuels me each day. I feel blessed to carry out the tasks that are uniquely similar to digging a hole and filling it back up again. Such as reading the Book of Mormon more than once or going on a hike that I have done before. Through being involved in daily prayer and having a heart set on the Light of Christ, the fruitful excitement that I harbored when I was a young 5 year-old can be emulated throughout the small acts that I do everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by putting all of my Faith in Jesus Christ. I believe in Him, and I know that he believes in me. I maintain a daily relationship with him as I read from the scriptures each day. I show my love for him by continually drawing closer to him through humble prayer and charitable acts. I know that because of him we can receive all things with gratitude.
