Hi I'm Jason

I like mountains. I like things that fly. I love my family and friends, and I love to learn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in West Valley Utah, and I'm the second oldest of eight kids. I am a jack-of-all-trades and master of none, but I want to get into aerospace technology after my mission in BC. Or maybe music. Or maybe Writing. Or something else entirely. I like a bit of everything, but the best things are the things that involve family, friends, and doing something. If I were to always be participating in my favorite pastimes I'd be found either on a hike or visiting/working with someone.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in God and I believe that Jesus Christ is His Son, the Only Begotten and Savior of Mankind. I believe that He called Joseph Smith to restore His church to its fullness which it had at the time of Christ, with the Priesthood and order that Jesus established. I have gained my own testimony of the truth contained in the Book of Mormon; that Jesus is the Christ and He has suffered my sins that I may be healed. I gained my testimony by listening to my parents and church leaders, and following their counsel I read the Book of Mormon and much of the Bible. I read about Jesus and the miracles that God worked for His children. I learned from these books and stories that God loves His children. I learned that He answers prayers. I learned that everything He does and allows is for our learning and growth. I tested the things I learned by trying to follow the examples I was given. I had my own prayers, and my own spiritual experiences in church and seminary, and even school, and I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's Kingdom on Earth.

How I live my faith

I serve as a missionary teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to others and serving them however I have the opportunity to do so. I usually do this by talking to everyone I come in contact with, whether that's on the bus, on the street, or even by knocking on people's doors.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Jason
I believe that God has a prophet like Moses today. I love to hear him speak and I receive as much personal revelation from listening to him as I do from reading the scriptures. Show more Show less
