Hi I'm Emily Hurley

I grew up in Arkansas. I attended Brigham Young University. I'm going to be a Chiropractor. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have attended Brigham Young University in Utah. I'm Pre-Chiropractic. I was homeschooled until I attended University. I love to travel and I have travelled to South Korea and several countries in Western Europe including living in Spain for 3 months. I love Spanish and I'm striving to learn to speak it more fluently.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were baptized into the Church when I was very young. I have grown up attending Church regularly. I have slowly come to know that this Gospel is true. Jesus Christ lives and He loves me. My Heavenly Father listens to my prayers and cares enough to answer them and bless me every day. I haven't always known that or been able to recognize those answers. But as I was patient and persistent, the Lord has helped me to recognize the Holy Ghost and more fully understand this Gospel.

How I live my faith

My favorite ways that I have been able to serve in my ward has been teaching the little children in the Church. It is a special experience to hear them recognize pictures of Jesus, singing songs of His love for them and learning to pray. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the California Sacramento Mission Spanish Speaking, teaching about Jesus Christ. It is truly a joy to serve my Father in Heaven every moment of everyday. It is an honor to represent Jesus Christ and strive to do what He would do if He were serving here on Earth. I've seen many miracles daily on my mission, constantly strengthening my faith in Him and my testimony that this work of inviting others to come unto Christ through baptism is the most important thing I could be doing with my life.
