Hi I'm Ana

I am from a small town in Wyoming. I love people, being active, music, and laughing. I am a Mormon. (:

About Me

I grew up in a tiny town and graduated with a class of 16 kids. I love being active. My favorite sports to play are volleyball and basketball, but I'll try just about anything else! I love music - either listening to it or creating it- music can power emotions like nothing else. My favorite thing to do is laugh. I love being happy. (: I am going to college and I love the people I have met and the interactions I've had to opportunity to make.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my love for God and Jesus Christ. I've always had faith in believing what I was taught, but a few years ago I had some operations on my knee and leg that caused me to be upset at my circumstances. I wasn't mad at God, but it was hard to be happy when everything that could have gone wrong with the surgeries did go wrong. One surgery became two, two surgeries became three. I couldn't walk for a while; it was a struggle. I felt lost because it seemed as though everything I loved had been taken away from me. I had the choice to either turn away from God and question why this had happened to me or turn to Him and let Him carry me. I wasn't strong enough to do anything alone; It was then that I came to the understanding of the atonement and how it works in our lives. Not only is the atonement for our sins, but for our pains, hurts, sorrows, and heartaches. I know Christ suffered for me so that I can return to Him. He took every one of my pains, hurts, and sorrows upon Him. For one moment He said, "This is for Ana" and He suffered everything I have and ever will go through. He knows me better than anyone; He understands me. He helps me through my trials. He doesn't just see me and pass by. He is my beckon. He has placed people in my life who have carried me when I've been weak; He has helped me understand the scriptures and relate them to me. I do what I do and I live how I live because I owe my heart and soul to my Heavenly Father and His only perfect son.

How I live my faith

Service is one of the most rewarding things. I know without a doubt in my heart that the moment you lose yourself in service you find yourself. I know that is a contradictory statement, but the peace and happiness serving others can bring to your life are truly incredible. I want to be an instrument in God's hands, I involve myself through service to others.
