Hi I'm Hayley

I grew up in California. Became an adult in Utah. I'm all about my Family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Northern California. I moved to Utah my Junior year of high school. I played soccer when I was young but when I got into the 7th grade I discovered that I love to perform. I was part of a singing and dancing group in California and when I moved to Utah, I joined a similar group. With these groups, I have performed at state fairs, Disneyland, and was able to travel to China and perform for the Pre-Olympic Music Festival. When I went to BYU to study, I joined the Folk Dance Group. I have learned and grown so much through these opportunities. It as also something I could enjoy with my family because thy all have similar love for performing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I know without a doubt that it is the church of Jesus Christ. It is not just another church, or another good thing from God. But it truly is the same organization that Christ established when He was here on the earth. I know that again we have prophets on the earth to lead and guide us. They truly have the authority of God to act in His name. By following the example of Christ, we can return again to live with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

All my life I had the desire to serve a mission. The desire to share the joy I have in my life due to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But I wasn't sure how it work out because who knew where I'd be at 21. It was during my freshman year at college, sitting in our little kitchen at Heritage Halls, when I heard President Monson change the age for sisters to 19. I was still only 17 and had to wait, but how much shorter the wait would be. I got my mission call at the beginning of my sophomore year at BYU and left the next February. I am now a missionary in Mexico City preaching the gospel in the Spanish language. I have never felt something so amazing as being a missionary. It is hard, harder than anything I have ever done. But the highs of the mission, are higher than I ever could have imagined.
