Hi I'm Brittny

I grew up in Utah. I am an actress, artist, boy band loving, think-out-side-the-box kinda girl. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I began my own photography business when I was 17 and am studying visual design at my university. love to travel, to see the way people have beautified the earth, and capture that with my camera. I love performing. I'm a musical theatre geek. One of my favorite things is doing princess parties for kids. I love teaching children that they have special worth. Making someone smile is my reward for performing. I am a hopeless romantic and I DON'T think Disney gave us an unrealistic expectation of how our prince should treat us. I think accents are attractive. I am the oldest of my siblings, and I love my family. My parents are so supportive of everything I do. I am a slob and a perfectionist, laid back and super stressed. I have a bucket list to remind me that every moment is worth remembering. People tell me to reality check my dreams and goals, but I can't do that and still be honest with myself. I believe that if I work hard, the Lord will support me and the right thing will happen. Dreams can become reality, and that doesn't seem impossible to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I have researched many ways to find peace. What I have found is that there is truth in almost everything. You can find good things everywhere, and balancing it all together is wonderful. But the only thing that brings the greatest joy, peace, truth, and stability to my life is this gospel. I believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has the fullness of truth and correct priesthood authority from God. With that priesthood authority families can be sealed together for time and all eternity. That sounds pretty great, doesn't it? I can be with my family forever. And if I'm gonna marry someone, I better have them forever. I don't want to loose the love of my life when I die. I want to the love of my life to be the love of my FOREVER. Happily forever after. The Gospel principles are True and flawless, and the organization of the Church has effective programs for every age group to teach, apply and experience those principles. You are always surrounded by people who support you, believe what you believe, and lift you up. The Book of Mormon contains answers to every question. I can't tell you how many times I have prayed for guidance, opened to a random page, and found a direct and clear answer. Joseph Smith said this book will bring you closer to God than any other book can. I testify that that is true. My relationship with my Heavenly Father is so much stronger when I read the Book of Mormon. Read the book and pray about it. Choose to have direct communication with God, and He will let you know that it is true. What do you loose by trying that? You will gain soooooo much. Well, there are some of the reasons I love this gospel. There are way too many to list here, but those are the main points. Questions? Feel free to ask! (I love to discuss)

How I live my faith

In high school I helped organize and lead many church youth groups. I have participated in local church choirs since I was 11, both singing and directing. I am now serving a full time mission for my church in Arkansas. I chose to put the rest of my life, education and business on hold because the Truth of what Jesus Christ did for us has blessed my life. I want to share that with anyone who is interested. I want to build on their knowledge and invite them to learn more.
