Hi I'm Sabrina

I'm from Auckland, New Zealand, my parents are from Western Samoa I'm a stay at home mom of 5 children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife and a mother of 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys, I enjoy being a mom as I can watch them grow and learn and I'm right there helping them reach their goals. I'm an active person I like to dance and exercise to keep me fit and healthy I am always learning, my interest are healthy living, reading, moving my furniture - interior design and meeting people. Before I had children I worked as a hairdresser and now I cut my family and friends hair. I am also a home artist I love to paint Jesus Christ and the Temples. I am currently working in my community teaching a program to parents to help their children learn before they go to school, I also enjoy being my brothers caregiver who is disabled. We are fortunate to live in a beautiful country the land of the long white cloud New Zealand, we love camping and going to the beach! family time to me is precious.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, all my life I have only known his church and as a child I didn't realize this treasure I had. I wondered in different stages of my life if he was really there? I just did what my parents taught me to do but didn't know the meaning of what I was doing and why I needed to do it? When I became a mother it became crystal clear his plan of happiness for families, I finally knew the feeling of what it is like to love someone more then myself, I felt his presence all around me as I was raising his children, there were times when there was no one there? but he was always there, giving me advice, I felt his encouragement daily to carry on. I know being a mother is a sacred role, I know if I follow his teachings daily I will succeed. I go to church to learn to be a better mother, wife, daughter, worker, friend it has shaped me into the person I am today confident and sure! I know who I am why I am here and where I am going after this life. Every morning I wake my children up to say prayers and read the Book of Mormon this invites his spirit to be with us during the day and to give us strength to resist Temptations. I was sealed to my husband and children for Time and all Eternity in his holy House the Temple, our goal is to be together forever, Heavenly fathers purpose is to make us happy and to live with him with our families forever in the Eternities too...

How I live my faith

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints I have been in different positions we call them callings. I have been a teacher and President to children, youth and adults, in all these callings I have had no previous experience and knew nothing? but with his help he has taught me how to teach his children. During the week I prepare lessons for Sunday classes attend youth nights and any activities that we have, I visit sisters to help strengthen them and we go out and rescue those who have not attended church. I have learnt that when I am busy doing his work he will help me when I need his help The joy I feel when I help someone who needs help and see someone become a member of his church is the greatest feeling. What I learn from church I use in my daily life I am committed to whatever job I am in, I hold on to my integrity and share his love with those that I work with, I go into homes and meet people and try and help them if I can, I have a busy schedule being a mum and having a calling in the church and working. What keeps me going is the love I have for my heavenly father who gives me strength and love to help his children who are my brothers and sisters.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Sabrina
Heavenly fathers church bears his sons name Jesus Christ - we have his name, The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We do all in the name of his son we pray through him to Heavenly Father. We try and be like him by promising when we are baptised to bear his name keep his commandments and remember him. We teach and preach of Christ that our children may know who to look for a remission of their sins. Show more Show less
