Hi I'm Mo

I'm a Sister Missionary, an Otaku, and a hopeful future Animator!

About Me

I Love reading and making up fantasy. I love Japanese Comic books and cartoons (Manga and Anime) and love playing video games, though I refuse to allow them to take over my live. I also like to rollerblade. :) Many people tell me I'm pretty good at Drawing and I love doing it! I hope to put all of my interests together by becoming an Animator! :) My Family Means A LOT to me, especially since my father's death in 2014. There are eight people in my family, including my Dad. My mom and dad, JoAnn and Leon, and six of us kids who are pretty close together. In order there is Edward the eldest and a goof ball that keeps us laughing. Jessica the second and working towards a Nursing degree. Me, awesome number 3 Sister Missionary in the Oregon Eugene Mission and hopeful Animator. William who loves to air-soft, play video games, and wholesome pranks. Ruby, a cosmetologist, though hoping to one day be an elementary school teacher. Last but not Least is Lindon who wants to be and do everything in the world, right now he is into band, orchestra, baseball, and basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

At first I was just Mormon because I was born into a family where my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were Mormon. But now I am Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and most of the Bible and have prayed and been converted in my heart to the truth taught by God through Prophets all throughout time.

How I live my faith

I attend the Kimball Young Single Adult Branch in Safford. I am the ward Chorister and get to help pick the Hymns sung every Sunday. I am also a Substitute Relief Society (Women's service Group) Teacher so when another sister is unable to teach, I am given the opportunity. I enjoy sharing my beliefs with others, especially when they specifically ask me about something that I believe.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

The gift of the Holy Ghost allows us to have a constant companion that will direct us at all times. It is our choice weather or not to follow the promptings and directions of the the Holy Ghost, but he will try to guide us on the path that will lead to our own happiness. Also the Holy Ghost gives us comfort in our times of despair, for example: my father passed away two weeks ago and it really hit my family hard but because of the Holy Ghost we all felt a warm comfort in our hearts, and the knowledge that My father is in a place where he no longer suffers from disease is confirmed in my heart by the Holy Ghost. Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

The LDS church is Called Mormon because we believe in the Book of Mormon, which no other religion believed in at the time. The book of Mormon was what set us apart and in such, people began to refer to those of the LDS Church as Mormons. Show more Show less
