Hi I'm Brent

I'm a husband and father to four beautiful children.

About Me

I am happily married with four healthy children. I have lived on the West Coast of Canada and the United States. I currently live in North Eastern British Columbia. I graduated with a Bachelors in Geography in 2005 and returned to school from 2006-2007 to obtain a Diploma in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). I currently work in local government as a Civil Technologist and GIS Technician.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints my entire life. I do not feel that I have missed out on anything as as result of living a standard that is not 'normal' among peers. During grades 6-8 I was one of 10 members in a population of approximately 300. During my 8-12 grades I was one of a few 'Mormons'. I feel comfortable with my beliefs and know that if one chooses to live higher standards they will benefit the same as any other person who lives these standards.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life as a member I have had the opportunity and privilege of serving in many positions within the church. Sometimes my service has allowed me to spend time with my children in their Sunday classes; other times I have been responsible for leading people my age or older. Regardless of where I have been asked to serve I have enjoyed helping my friends and neighbors. In 1993 I had the privilege of teaching others about my beliefs in Colorado, Kansas, and Wyoming. To this day I benefit from the experiences I had during my time of service as a missionary. Daily I try to live the teachings of my Saviour by being happy, helpful and honest in my dealings. As I do these small things I feel blessed with happiness and peace as I face the challenges of life.
