Hi I'm Troy Koochin

I'm a cyclist, I'm a volunteer, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years old and am currently studying finance at Brigham Young University. I love to spend time with family, friends, and explore new things. I'm interested in chinese culture (Hong Kong), animals and sports. I try to keep life interesting, and keep myself doing things I love. I like to volunteer with church projects and in the community.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony in this church because of the spirit that I've felt. I've felt countless times the feelings of the spirit testifying to me that God does love me. It's come through work and a sincere desire to know if these things are true. I have come to the knowledge that this is the true church, that Jesus Christ lives, and that God is watching over me, caring for me. I've seen the difference it's made in my life to have something that is constant and that I don't need to rely on my own thoughts. Being born in the gospel, has given me the perspective of what it's like to live a Christ-like life. It pushes me everyday to see the examples of other saints, and the good in the world to become a better person.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following what feels right. I'm the ward's temple coordinator so I help new converts to their first visits to the temple. I try to serve out of love and perform my calling out of desire to serve the Lord. I work until I know I've done my best. I try to put in time and love into every thing I say or in every action I do.
