Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in Indiana. I design things and play with Legos for fun. I'm a mormon

About Me

I like Legos, designing things with Autodesk Inventor, learning how to do new things, and how things work especially if they are complex. I am currently a missionary serving in Australia. I plan on after my mission becoming a Mechanical engineer but am undecided about what school. As of yet I've built my own bow, designed a cryptex like rubik's cube, built a Mongolian ger with my brother, and achieved the Eagle rank in scouting.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that through the restored church of Jesus Christ I can live with my family here on earth and through the eternities. I also know that by living the gospel I can reach my full potential and return to live with Heavenly Father. I also know that without Christ and his gospel I would be nothing because I would have nothing to keep me out of the life destroying choices. The teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ have been a guide in my life in more ways then I could imagine and give me some of the best friends I have.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going out and teaching others about it. Back home I would go out with the missionaries, helping with any and all technology the church needs help with, attend church regularly, and helping out when ever asked. I also read and study the Bible and Book of Mormon because I know they are the words of God and they will bring me closer to him.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Kyle
The Bible is the word of God, its a record of the dealings of the prophets and people of God that lived in the lands surrounding Jerusalem. The Book of Mormon is a record of the dealings of the prophets and people of God in the Americas. I use them both in my scripture study because they each support what the other teaches.
