Hi I'm Ashlee Carter

I grew up on a farm, I am an aggie fan and I'm Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a very small town in northern Utah of about 150 people! I lived and worked on a family owned farm/ranch and even tho I complained about it then, I wouldn't trade or for the world! Loved every minute of it. My family is dominated by girls. I have three sisters and two nieces with the third on the way! My poor dad and brother-in-law :) I would rather be on the back of a horse than any where else. When I can't tho, I enjoy cooking and baking and reading! I have been called to serve a full time mission in the Philippines! I can't wait to get out there and share this beautiful Gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

At first I was a Mormon by default. I was born into an LDS family. But now I am a Mormon because I choose to be! I have found the one thing in this world that brings peace and happiness. The knowledge the church gives us about eternal life and eternal families is the best gift we could receive. We live our life in a way that no one else does, we are happier than the rest of the world, even through our trials because we know we are not alone. We have help from both sides. Our loved ones who have passed on, we will see again. They are pulling for us and helping us along our journey in this life. We can fix the things we've done wrong and make our heart and soul whole again! We can have eternal happiness! What greater gift can we enjoy?!

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily! (Or at least try too!) Coworkers of mine know I'm LDS and am excited to serve my mission. I am currently serving as a Sunday school teacher for the 13_14 year olds in my ward. I was very nervous when I was called but I love it so much now! I have learned so much since I've been the teacher. Preparing lessons has been a great strength to me and my testimony grows with each one! I live my faith by attending the temple on a regular basis. The peace that comes from the temple is unlike any other. And spending time with my family is a huge part of the way I live my faith. They are my world and every thing!
