Hi I'm Landon

I'm a musician, a sports enthusiast, and definitely- a mormon.

About Me

One of the things I love most is to try something new. If I haven't eaten it, played it, done it before, bring it on. I love culture! I think it's so cool. I love getting to know people, and hearing about their lives as well. I'm a fan of just about any sport, tennis in particular. I coach, play, and love every stinkin second. Music is also one of the big things in my life personally and socially. I play the piano and ukulele. Listening to good music is one of my favs, as it is for many.

Why I am a Mormon

Truthfully I'm a Mormon because I was raised it in my home. However, now I see the need to be, and I would (hopefully) choose it had I not had it before. Why? It makes me so happy! Like I mentioned in the "How I live my faith" section, it allows me to be happy. The lifestyle the faith teaches to live, though it not easy for many, brings blessings even some we can recognize just by thinking about it. Rather then a restraint to us as I have thought it before, I see it better, as someone once put it, as the safety restraint as we bungee jump. As we follow its guidelines, we have the opportunity to enjoy things more fully and lastingly. That's what is huge for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily being the best person I can. Though we (definitely including me) are not perfect and mess up, a large part of being a Mormon for me is finding the truth, and when we do it "shall make [us] free" (John 8:32). I really believe that, as I've come to see it often for me. And "freedom" for me allows me to be happy.
