Hi I'm Christian Reese

I live in Utah. I'm serving a mission in the Honduras, San Pedro Sula East Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved sports through my whole life, I started out with soccer like most other kids but by the fifth and sixth grades I was ready to move in to my real passions, Football and Wrestling. I wrestled all four years of high school at Copper Hills in West Jordan, Utah. I love the sport of wrestling and hope to be able to participate in it some more after I return from my mission. I also played football through high school and loved it, I played quarterback and linebacker for our varsity team in school. Because I love athletics so much I had to keep busy during the spring as well so I participated on our schools track and field team doing events from the 400 meter to pole vaulting at state competition. I hope that the skills I was able to acquire through my years of athletics will now be a great help for me while I serve the people of Honduras as well as teach this gospel that I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown Up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but while growing up in the church I have become very close to the gospel in the church. As I have participated in my classes, read talks by general authorities, and read the book of Mormon, I have gained a testimony of my own that is very dear to me. I know that this church is true, it has helped me many times to feel the comfort of the savior when I have had hard decisions or questions in my life. The teachings in the church make so much sense in helping us have great and happy lives. I love this church and all it teaches and stands for.

How I live my faith

I participated in leadership positions in my youth church service all growing up but now that I am graduated and preparing for a mission I have been called to be a teacher to the children in the ward.
