Hi I'm Madeline

I grew up in Utah. I'm a student at BYU. I'm serving an LDS mission in Columbus Ohio. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest child in a family of 4 children. We love our mountains. I spend most of my time hiking or doing other activities in the mountains. I am a Sophomore at BYU, studying nursing. I am also interested in English, as I love to read and write.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this community and this gospel brings peace, happiness, and purpose to my life. The principles in the Book of Mormon are true, and I've put it to the test by trying to live them as best as I can and seeing the difference it makes in my life. It's real and it works. It's the only book that comes with a promise, that if you read and pray about it with a full purpose of heart, God will manifest the truth of it unto you. I've felt the truth of it but I've also SEEN the truth of it, as I see the strength, wisdom, and happiness that comes from living in harmony with its teachings. I've come to know my Savior in a personal way. The Book of Mormon truly is another testament of Jesus Christ. His spirit resonates from every page. The book makes sense, and after reading it again I've come to see that the ONLY explanation of where it could have come from, is from God. All you need for confirmation is some real faith and a real desire to know the truth, and God will be there to answer. The teachings therein are too true, too real. They contain Christ's everlasting gospel. I love Him, I love His children, and I love His church.

How I live my faith

I go to church each Sunday, and I also attend the temple each week. I am preparing to serve as a full time missionary in Columbus, Ohio. I have been reading Preach My Gospel and studying the Book of Mormon to prepare.
