Hi I'm Karri

I'm from West Virginia. I've been a single mom. I'm raising eight kids with my husband. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of a wonderful man and the mother of eight amazing children. I help educate some of them at home. I love to hike and camp and be out in nature. I garden and cook and even decorate cakes. We have chickens and I hope one day we will have a little farm. I also like to write, when I find the time. Being a mom is my passion. I love music and singing and I use to play the guitar. My kids and I joke about how I might pick it back up when they are all grown up.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was searching for truth about God, I found answers that spoke to my spirit through members and missionaries of the Mormon faith. I am a Mormon because this faith is about following the teachings of Jesus Christ. I love my Savior and I want to live my life in a way that allows me to return to Heaven and live there with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I love my family and I want us to be together forever, not just here on earth. The Mormon religion has taught me that this is possible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by raising a family. Building a strong relationship with my husband is so important to me. I teach my children the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Showing them love and teaching them to live up to their potential as children of God helps me feel closer to God. I also teach the youth in our church about the gospel and help them to find their faith so they can build a strong relationship with God. I try to connect with my faith each day through pray and scripture study and by serving others when I can.
