Hi I'm Stacey

I'm a student studying Public Relations. I'm a sketch comedian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey ya'll, I'm Stacey. I'm from sweet Texas and I love everything about it from the scorching summers to our savory BBQ culture. I'm currently studying Public Relations in college and I love it. The major was made for me. When it comes to social functions, I'm there. I can't get enough of people and the way they they think, speak and act. I am thoroughly convinced that everyone is hilarious in their own way; at times it can be tough to get on their wave length to understand their humor. I'm usually that guy. You know, the one that laughs when no one else thinks it's funny. I consider it a gift and a curse (ok but really it's a gift). Comedy is a part of my life. I'm heavily involved with a couple sketch comedy groups. It's crazy because I grew up shy and reserved. Somehow I "hatched" into a weird extroverted introvert hybrid that enjoys jumping in front of crowds and making people laugh. It's what I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because it has changed me so much. Even though my parents were born Baptist I grew up Mormon. When I was in high school I started realizing how unfulfilled I felt. I felt like there was more to life and I just wasn't getting it. I remembered at church how they talked about God being our father. I figured a good father would give his children advice and guidance so I decided to ask for it. I asked God for a way to be happy, fulfilled, useful and closer to Him. That eventually led me to the Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I can truly say that God, my Father, has truly answered my pleas. God is real, Jesus is the Christ and the Book Of Mormon is true.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. It might seem cliche' or old school but it's a part of who I am. I attend church every Sunday for three hours and I love it. My friends and family that I attend church with volunteer to be involved and help our church run. A couple of others and I get to work with the men in my area. If anyone is struggling or needs help we are there to help them. Our goal is to focus on teachings and principles that motivate and empower us to be better men, husbands and fathers. It's pretty awesome because we are a brotherhood, a family.
