Hi I'm Amanda

I grew up in Germany. I'm a student. I'm a traveler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Junior in college studying Communication Disorders. One day I want to be a speech therapist and work with children. I'm the oldest of three kids, one brother and one sister. I moved to Germany when I was 13 and loved the experience of living in a new culture and meeting people from all over the world. I love spending time with my family and traveling to new places. I love watching movies, playing the piano, baking, cooking, star-gazing, and smiling.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the happiness the gospel brings to my life. The gospel brings me a lasting happiness that can't be found anywhere else. The happiness I find in my faith is deep and so real, and is always there. The gospel is the reason I am happy. I'm a Mormon because of the hope the gospel brings me. It gives me the opportunity to be with my family forever, and to live with my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always remembering that everyone around me is a child of God. I try to love and see others how my Heavenly Father does, knowing that He loves them just as much as He loves me. Remembering this helps me show more love and kindness to others. I live my faith everyday by trying to be an example of my Savior in everything I do. I want everything in my life to reflect my love and belief of my faith. I live my faith by trying to share it with others. I want others to know how deeply the gospel has blessed my life, and that they can have those same blessings, too.
