Hi I'm Leah Lasike

I am Polynesian. I smile a lot. I love to love people. I'm Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a dairy/farming community. I have two brothers who turned out to be my greatest friends and supports in life. Graduated seminary and high school and after which I continued my education at college. I absolutely love laughing and having a good time with good friends and loved ones while doing wholesome activities. To earn money for college I worked at a lake resort during the my summer time months for two years. Best and hardest thing I have ever done. It was my first time that I ever really was able to meet complete strangers who didn't have the special knowledge that I do about the gospel, but I was able to develop a love for them and see them through God's eyes. The strongest friendships I ever had developed with great people during my time there. I grew to love people and forsake judgement as I was able to get to know them. In addition to this blessing I was able to connect with my Savior in the most beautiful place on earth. I know that life is good when we invite Jesus Christ into it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized at the age of 8. At that time I was doing it because it was the thing to do wen you turned that age. But I wasn't converted to the gospel until later in life. It took a lot of time and effort for me to see that I was apart of something that brought more to my short life than I initially thought. As I have faith and keep my baptismal covenants and the commandments my conversion grows stronger and stronger. The gospel is instructions on how the get back to live with God again. I am a Mormon because I feel the peace and gain knowledge of its truth everyday. Because I desire to obtain salvation and to be worthy to live with God again I need to progress in the gospel and share my light and life with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with action. I show my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that I love them by being a true disciple and doing all I can to make them proud of my efforts.
