Hi I'm Brenna

I love laughing, creating and serving. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent high school graduate currently serving in the Florida Orlando Mission! I love to learn and grow my talents. I am most passionate about helping people in need.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger I moved from Arizona to Las Vegas. Before moving I was reluctant to learn what I was taught in church and I didn't always agree with or understand the standards of the church. Because I was new and lacked friends at school, I found myself participating in church lessons and activities more willingly. Before I even realized it, I was soaking up the things I was taught and started to understand how these things apply to me. As I applied gospel principles to my life, I started to see the joy that comes from following Jesus Christ. As I read and prayed about the Book of Mormon, I gained a knowledge that it is the word of God. Each time I read the it and other scriptures, I feel Heavenly Father and Christ's love for me and am able to receive answers to my questions. Most importantly, because I am imperfect, I constantly see how the Atonement of Jesus Christ heals and changes me. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's true church! I have heard it said that with the gospel, our highs can be so much higher and lows do not have to be quite so low. I believe this to be true! Life is not perfect, but with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ it can be so much more fulfilling and wonderful.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best! Although I am far from perfect, I try my best to make each day meaningful, focused on our savior, Jesus Christ. I do this by studying the scriptures, praying, and serving those around me. I consistently try to see Heavenly Father's hand in my life and the blessings He is constantly giving us. I also have the opportunity to serve in my church congregation. Before serving a mission I served as a primary teacher (for 8-10 year old children).
