Hi I'm Caleb

I am 23 from a small suburb in Texas. I am a Sign Language Interpreting Major, and I love music. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young man who recently finished college for an Associates in Sign Language Interpreting. I love to listen to music and like finding new styles that are uplifting and meet with the gospel standards. I lived outside of my parents home with my best friend and i just left on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am now serving a full time mission in Rochester, New York American Sign Language. I plan to do more schooling after my mission. I love to rock climb, sing, hang out with my friends, and finding people who need help and love through Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

We all make mistakes. I have made my share and i am only 23. The lord has prepared a way for all of us to be able to repent of our sins and to find our way back to him through his sacrifice on the cross. With that we can be forgiven of our sins for the sins we make daily. I am Mormon because i know that those who made the sacrifice to help build this church would not have done this unless called by God. I know that Christ lives and he is my redeemer. His sacrifice helps me to see the world through different eyes, and that everyone can repent and be baptized. I see these blessings everyday from the lord. No matter how far you think you've gone there is a way to get back to our Heavenly Father. He is there helping us and he is anxiously waiting our return.

How I live my faith

I was a single in a ward in my area. My calling was as a stake Young Single Adult (YSA) Committee. I went to help and find less active members that think that they may or are less important and have fallen away. The committee i was in helps invite those individuals out to Family Home Evening, Institute, and to other events with other YSA's. At Family home evening we get together as a congregation and socialize with those we don't see on a regular basis. I have seen the blessings of going to these events to meet new people and to strengthen those who are in need. People tend to meander their way towards me. I do not know why or how but i like to talk to people. I also listen to their pleas of help or friendship when they need someone. I live my faith by loving everyone around me, and trying to see people for their full potential. Not their short comings.
