Hi I'm Brendon

I'm a BYU sports fanatic. I love to run. I'm married to an awesome wife! And I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have lived in six different states through out my life; from the west coast to the east coast. For the majority of my life I grew up in Colorado and I loved it! I thoroughly enjoy skiing and spending time outdoors. I am a huge sports fanatic, especially when it comes to my BYU Cougars! I was married just over a year ago and my wife and I currently live in Provo where we are attending school at BYU. I am studying accounting and my wife is studying dietetics. Since being married to my wife, she has converted me to broadway, which is something she is very proud of. And though I do not like to admit it, I am very glad she did.

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot remember a specific moment in my life when I could say that I was converted to the mormon faith. I grew up in the church, with parents who taught me how to follow Christ and be a good person. However, I do know, by my own conviction, that this is the true church that Christ is the head of. This truth has been confirmed to me through God's spirit. I know that Christ lives and that He died to pay the price for my sins. I know that Christ is always there for us when we fall. I have a strong conviction that we can be forgiven of our sins through Christ. I also know that God lives and that he is our loving Heavenly Father. We are His children, and He loves us dearly. I know that God has a plan for us and through His plan we can live with our families after this life for eternity. I know that true happiness and peace is found in following Christ's gospel. This world we live in can be very troubling and disheartening at times. However, I know that God wants us to be happy, and we can be if we follow the gospel of Jesus Christ. And finally, I know that God has restored the Church of Jesus Christ back onto this earth. The Book of Mormon is a witness of that truth. Those who would like to know for themselves if the Book of Mormon is true and hence, know that this church is true, can pray and ask God. He will answer your prayer if you pray with faith and with sincerity.

How I live my faith

I am definitely not perfect, but I try my best to always do what our Savior, Jesus Christ would do. This includes loving and serving others, reading the scriptures, praying, going to church, and just trying to be a good person. I know that as long as I do my best, God will make up the rest.
