Hi I'm Ashton

Raised in Syracuse. I'm a composer. I'm involved. I'm an Aggie. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm single, active, and a lover of good books. I'm college student majoring in Pre-Law and Constitutional Studies. I enjoy performing my personal piano arrangements/compositions during common hour at the University's main restaurant. I'm an Ambassador for my college. I'm the President of the Government Relations Committee and love the opportunity to serve in representing my school and state. I love running, swimming, biking, hiking, and skydiving! But one thing I love the most is sitting with my whole family in a circle around the candy table while talking religion and life. Our family motto is, "Duty, Service, and Honor to God, Family, and Country."

Why I am a Mormon

I'm positive that God is our Eternal Father in Heaven and that He loves us. I'm a member of the LDS church because I've read the Book of Mormon and have felt in my heart and mind that it is the word of God just as the Bible. I know that God's plan for all of us is to return to live with Him after this mortal life ends. I know that we can all come to be more like our Father in Heaven by loving one another, serving our parents, spouses, and children. I know that through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ we can receive all the blessings of happiness in this life and in the next. If you are reading this right now and have even the smallest desire to know if what I've said is true, please read the Book of Mormon today and ask God to help you know it is true. I promise that if you do, and if your desire be sincere, the Holy Ghost will tell you in your mind and in your heart that these things are true.

How I live my faith

I've been an active member of the Church ever since I was young. I served a full time mission for the Church in Brazil from 2009-2011. I've since been able to serve in various church callings on campus. I was able to teach Sunday school all last year. This year I was asked to continue my teaching but on monday evenings. I enjoy serving in the church both on Sundays as well as weekdays.
