Hi I'm Annie

I love the outdoors and traveling. I am now a serving a mission and I love it! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside doing active things such as skiing, swimming, hiking, etc.Who doesn't love some good ol' outdoorsy days? Lacrosse, soccer, and swimming are some of my favorite sports to compete in. I am a big people person and love to work with youth and have in elementary schools for a couple years. I recently just finished my first year at college and hope to become a youth mentor at a national park. I am heading out on an LDS mission to Romania and Moldova, woot woot! I love traveling and have been able to visit Australia and Thailand! The world is an incredible place! I love what's going on now and I'm excited for what future days hold!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family and was raised LDS. As I started into my young adult years I wanted to know for myself, truly know, whether or not this was the true and living church. I prayed to Heavenly Father asking if this was the true and living gospel. An indescribable warmth and feeling of love came over me. There is a God and He loves each of us. He knows who we are. There was and is no way that I can deny that. Since that initial experience I have continued to follow the guidance of this gospel and find that each time I make an effort, I come closer to God and Jesus Christ. This first experience was not the last. God truly does answer prayers and I have felt this frequently in my life. Whether it be a big question or little, He is listening. He has given us so much to guide us, we just need to reach out. The Book of Mormon is true. People are in our lives for a reason. Being a Mormon is my whole life. It brings me closer to God and Jesus Christ. It brings me closer to my family. It brings me incredible happiness, light, hope, peace, and love. It makes me a better person and continuously pushes me try my best. Though this life can be hard, there is a God who loves and knows each of us. When I follow him there is goodness and light. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!!!! Each person can know for himself/herself if this is the true and living gospel. If you just give it a chance, take a leap of faith, and try it, God will answer you.

How I live my faith

I know I am not perfect at this but I try my best to look for the needs of others and provide help the best I can. I attend church meetings, go to LDS temples, and daily pray and read in the Book of Mormon or Bible. Doing this invites the Spirit (Holy Ghost) and I, along with everyone else, have the opportunity to receive personal revelation from God. Listening to a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and his disciples is always such a great way to come closer to Christ and Heavenly Father. They provide guidance from Heavenly Father which can be seen/read at LDS.org. I use my skills in a beneficial way for those around me. I love to try new things in order to learn new skills. I love to listen to instrumental hymns or sing them to invite the peace of feeling the Holy Ghost. I am now serving a full-time mission for the LDS Church in Romania and Moldova! I will be serving for 18 months, inviting people to come unto Jesus Christ and feel the light and happiness that this gospel brings. Right now I am learning Romanian, working with other missionaries, studying the Book of Mormon and other standard works, and just really working hard to be an instrument in the Lord's hands. It has brought so much good into my life and I have felt the Spirit so strongly almost all of the time! I have a hope and love for this life!!
