Hi I'm Diane

I love being a wife, mother and grandmother. I have Type 1 diabetes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The most important things in my life are my faith and my family. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 31 years. We have two married daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. They are the joy of my life! I love to serve in the temple, read, watch movies, eat chocolate and spend time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon faith and I have always known that it is true. There have been many times in my life where my heart has almost burst with a sweet peace that lets me know of its truthfulness. I know without a doubt that Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, know me and love me. I want to be with my family forever. I know that this is possible because I made, and am trying to keep, covenants with my Heavenly Father that I will become the best person I can be.

How I live my faith

In our church we are asked by our local leaders to help others in various ways. I have had the opportunity to help teach young children, be a youth leader and serve as a teacher and leader with the women. I have made many friendships and learned valuable lessons from this service. Currently I help organize activities for the adult women. We get together once a month and learn more about each other and how to improve our own lives and our community. I also serve in the Jordan River temple one day a week. I call it "my day off" even though I am always busy because there is such a reverent, sweet feeling there. I honor my commitment to God by being honest, kind, happy and serving others. I know that keeping the commandments brings great joy into my life.
