Hi I'm Robin

I am a college student. I love to read. I love to cook. I love to be with my family and friends. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to work with children. I enjoy being outside and camping. Families are very important to me. I spend a lot of time reading and love to watch movies. I try to make a difference in the lives of those I meet.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member, but growing up I could feel that there was something about church that I loved. It wasn't until I was in the late years of junior high, or early high school, that I was truly converted to the gospel. I had alway just gone to church because that was what our family did. I didn't realize that I truly believed it. My friends began to ask me questions, and some of them I didn't know how to answer. That is when I decided to actually implement the things I had been learning my whole life. I decided it was time to sincerely pray. The feeling that surrounded me was like a warm blanket, and I knew, I know, that the church is true. I may not have all the answers, but I am always learning and deepening my faith. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that Joseph Smith restored God's church again on this earth. Amen.

How I live my faith

I recently grew out of the youth program and moved into the program for women. Since then I have been blessed with many more opportunities to serve not only those in my ward, but also the community. I love being a part of such a service oriented group of women. I care for children whose parents need to leave for work before school starts, and get home after school ends. I visit ladies in the ward and community and try to make as many friends as I can.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Robin
For me, I see God all around me. I love nature, and so I sit outside and I see all the trees and flowers. Often I think to myself how blessed I am to be here on the earth, let alone every other human being. It is amazing to me how everything works together to sustain life. How plants, animals, and even the sun are placed just right in order to do so blows my mind. I don't believe that this is a matter of chance. God created all things and that is why, I believe, everything works in harmony. Show more Show less
