Hi I'm Elisa

I'm from Vancouver, WA. I am married and have 3 kids. I am a stay-at-home Mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 7 years and have 3 children. I have a BS in Psychology and am presently a stay-at-home Mom. I enjoy playing soccer and the piano. I also enjoy the outdoors, especially the beach.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I intensely believe in families. I don't ever want to be anywhere that my family is not. I know that through Christ I can live with my family forever. When I was married, I was married for time and all eternity; it won't end at death. I can be with my children forever. Family is something worth fighting for. I believe that a lot of the problems in this world can be resolved in the home, with our families. I know Christ lives. He died for me. For ME. His capacity to love all of us so individually is something I will never fully comprehend. But I know that our capacity to love expands as far as we will let it. I thought I loved my husband as much as I ever could on our wedding day. But I was wrong. I love him so much deeper now. When I had my first child, I thought my heart would burst I was so in love. When I was pregnant with our second, I didn't know how I could ever love another child like I did her. And yet, my capacity to love grew and I now love all three of of kids in a way that just amazes me. I would walk through fire for them. When I got married it's like a had a bowl of water filled to the brim. The water represents love. As time goes on, I trade my bowl for a bigger and bigger container so I can hold more water. Christ has a container so big it just blows my mind, but I do understand how it's possible. My family has taught me that.

How I live my faith

I try to be an active participant whenever I can. I love helping other people. I love that my church is focused around giving--no one is paid for anything that they do. I think that is the best way to become more like Christ. At church, we all help each other when we need it. I love that.
