Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Georgia peach, college student, wife and a Mormon.

About Me

I am part Indian, part Caucasian. I love to work out at the gym, cook, and pin on Pinterest. I love finding new craft ideas and trying to make them. I work at Gold's Gym in the childcare. I love children and can't wait to have my own someday! I have just finished my freshman year of college and am now working for the next little while. I am a newlywed, and love my husband more than anything!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Latter-Day Saint church. My mother is a member, but my father is Muslim. It was hard growing up in a part-member family. Once I moved out to college, I had to decide for myself if I was going to follow this gospel I had been taught my whole life. I did a lot of praying and pleading for answers and comfort. I love the feeling I get when I sit in church on Sunday and hear others testify of the truthfulness of this gospel. I know, without a doubt in my mind, that this is the true gospel. There is a warmth and special peacefulness in living this gospel. I can always kneel down on my knees at any time and pray to a Father in heaven that I know is listening to each and every word, worry, and trial I am going through. He is always there for me, and He is there for all of His children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always having a positive attitude and being quick to serve others. I often think the well-known saying, "What would Jesus do?" in lots of situations of my daily life. I enjoy meeting other people of my faith in my ward and helping them. For example, I recently was called as someone to help prepare meals once a month for our fast Sundays for all the people in my ward to get together and eat at the end of the first Sunday of each month. This was a perfect calling for me since I love to cook!
