Hi I'm Viridiana

I grew up in Baja California, Mexico. I'm a book worm and a dancer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I just finished my first year at the University of Redlands studying communicative disorders and now I am preparing to serve an LDS mission. I have been called to serve in the Bolivia Cochabamba mission! I'm really excited about that! I have many siblings and also many nieces and nephews. I love playing with them they make me feel young and happy. On my free time I love creative journaling and photography and of course reading. I love nature and appreciate a good hike or beach trip.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it makes me happy! Learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the blessings that we can receive as we are obedient and try to live righteous lives brings me hope and peace especially through the harder times of my life. I know families can be together forever and that to me is one of the greatest blessings of this gospel. I love my family and I love that Jesus Christ centered his plan around families. Everything we learn at church is centered on learning how to form and keep strong bonds in our families. We focus on emulating our Savior Jesus Christ and all the wonderful teachings he had when he walked upon the Earth. We try to be patient and kind and serviceable to all people because we believe He is our Heavenly Father and we are all His children. The book of Mormon has been a blessing in my life since I was a little girl. I began reading it when I was young like around 8 years old and I remember even as a child I would feel God's love for me through the scriptures as I grew older and kept studying I could feel my confidence in the Lord growing along with my testimony of Him and His church. In this church I have found joy, peace, and hope. I have a found a way of life that brings me closer to my Savior and to get to know him better. I have found purpose for my life and love towards all people of the world.

How I live my faith

I before my mission held the calling of teacher for the young women in my ward. It was an awesome calling because I got to learn along with the girls. I love teaching about the gospel and Jesus Christ. I love sharing my testimony of the gospel whenever I get a chance. I also live my faith by praying and studying my scriptures individually and with my family. I find that doing those things with our family unites us and brings us happiness.
