Hi I'm Cedara

I grew up in Hawaii. I'm from Missouri and I am serving in the Scotland/Ireland Mission, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I go to BYU-I Currently studying Early childhood and Special education. I Have 5 sibling and 2 Nephews, They are the best. I like to go fishing, I love cooking, and I love to make people laugh. My family means the world to me. I am a Mormon Missionary!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my grandmother first off. My grandmother is from Samoa and she helped the missionaries to preach the gospel to the people there. My great grandparents helped to build the Laie Hawaii temple as labor missionaries. Like many other latter day saints I was baptized at age 8, at age ten we moved to Missouri. After moving my family became inactive with the church, during this time I thought our life was fine. When I was about 15 on mothers day my moms only request for mothers day was that we go to church. So we did. That day I met new friends, better friends. The people at church were very nice it made me feel very at home and welcome. As we continued to go to church and live the gospel I noticed our lives getting much better. We fought less and everyone just seems more happy now. We had the opportunity to go to the temple as a family. BEST DAY of my life. I can be with my family forever. I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it and prayed about it, I have absolutely no doubt that it is true. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me personally. He knows my name, my joys and pains. I am very thankful for Jesus Christ to be so loving and perfect to suffer for my sins, so that I have the chance to return to him and my Heavenly father. I also know that he hears my prayers and answers them. I'm grateful for repentance so that we can all try again. I'm Mormon and I love it ~Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God. -doctrine and covenants 18:10

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it with those around me. Currently I am a missionary so it makes it pretty easy to go around and talk with everyone I see! I love to see how people learn about their Heavenly Father and when they want to come closer to him. I just try to help as many people as I can really.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is very important to me, we chose our families before this life and we have the opportunity to live with them forever. My family teaches me so much everyday, I am very grateful for all my family members and love them very much. -There is beauty all around, when there's love at home. Show more Show less
