Hi I'm Avery Veater

I'm a small town Southern Utah gal, love the outdoors, Utah Utes, and currently serving in the Mexico City South Mission.

About Me

I am a small town girl called to serve in the second largest city in the world, Mexico City South Mission. I love to be outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, four-wheeler ride or a good run! I also enjoyed cheerleading and dancing during high school. I attended the University of Utah majoring in Human Development and Family Studies and hope to become a Child Life Specialist. I'm the oldest of three beautiful sisters and one, happy kidney transplant recipient brother. I love people and socializing with many new people as well as close friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I KNOW it is true. There is no doubt in my mind that it is not true. I can feel it when I read my scriptures, when I attend my church meetings, or even when I say a simple prayer. There have been times in my life when I have fallen off the path and have felt the unhappiness that not living righteously can bring. The peace, happiness, and joy that living the Gospel brings testifies to me that it is true. I know that I have a Savior, my brother, whom died upon a cross and bled from every single pore in Gesthamine for my sins. Only through his Gospel can I be cleansed from the sins of which we all partake of. I want to do everything in my power to give back what I have been given even though it will never amount. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon and the restoration of this gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith. And this is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not being ashamed of it. I am a very straight forward person and I love to tell people about the gospel. I live by being an example and showing others what happiness can come from the gospel. I also live my faith by serving others. I've had many leadership opportunities throughout my life in church and school and I love being able to communicate with people and help guide them if possible.
