Hi I'm Celine

I'm a mormon

About Me

Hello, Im the second child of four kids. I grew up in a military family so I have moved around a lot but I don't mind. Since I have lived in so many different places in my life I consider my family my home. I am a sophomore at Brigham Young University-Idaho studying Marriage and Family studies so I can either become a therapist or just help me become a better mom some day. I love to talk, laugh, play games, sports and hang out with people. I have huge fear of bugs, especially spiders. I have grown up in the church but my mom was a convert and my dads parents were the first people to join the church in my family, so I'm a third generation mormon. I love to travel and go on road trips. My family does a lot of traveling and trips around the world and they are some of my most treasured memories. I have lived in Italy, Alaska, and Utah. I was born in Georgia but I don't really remember it. Im really close with my older sister. I love to play baseball, my family has grown up playing it, its like our own little family team. I play alto saxophone and I'm learning piano, but I enjoy listening, singing and dancing to music also. I have a talent and love for quoting movies, songs or jokes, anything I can quote. I love to help people and I definitely love the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormon church) not because my parents forced me or because I was pressured by friends, I am a mormon because I want to be and choose to be. I know this gospel is true. I have grown up in this gospel and I am grateful for that. I know that heavenly father loves me and all of us. I know that just because I am one person out of millions on earth I can make a difference. I was able to get through many hard times in my life because of the comfort and guidance of the Book of Mormon and the knowledge I was taught in this church. I love knowing that my family will be together forever even after death. I know that God answers my prayer and has a plan for me. Living this gospel as a member of this church has blessed my life in every way. Sometimes it is hard to do everything that is required of us as members, but I know and promise it is so worth it. I love this church and and know it is true with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I served as a leader in the youth group in my ward with camps, teaching, service and just making people feel welcome. I helped with indexing in my young single adult ward, Indexing submits names and information to ancestry or family history sites so people can do their family history. I participated in especially for youth, which is a very fun, spiritual program for teens. I participated in four years of seminary where we study and learn more about the gospel. I'm serving 18 month mission teaching the gospel in Tokyo, Japan. I help wherever I am needed and love to do service.
