Hi I'm Randy Romrell

I grew up in the United States. I am an attorney. I am married and have 5 children. I served a Mormon mission.

About Me

I am married and have 2 daughters, 3 sons, and 5 grandchildren. I retired in August last year. My wife and I are preparing to serve an 18 month mission in the Brazil, Cuiaba, Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I enjoy doing things outdoors such as biking, snow skiing, hiking, traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 8 years old I was baptized by my father, who was an active and worthy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After I was baptized, my father was joined by other worthy priesthood holders who laid their hands upon my head, confirmed me a member of the Church and conferred upon me the gift of the Holy Ghost. Christ promised His Apostles that the Holy Ghost would “teach you all things” (John 14:26) and “guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). He also said that the Holy Ghost “shall testify of me” (John 15:26). Through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, I have been able to recognize and understand truth and make right choices and inspired decisions. The scriptures tell me and the Holy Ghost shows me all things that I must do to align my life with God's will. By living worthy to have the Holy Ghost as my constant companion I can avoid being deceived by Satan and receive the joy promised to those who live righteous lives. When I was 28 years old I relied on the guidance of the Holy Ghost in choosing a beautiful young lady as my wife. We were married and sealed for time and all eternity in a holy temple by the power and authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood. We have been blessed with 2 daughters, 3 sons and 5 grandchildren, with another expected soon. We know that as we live worthy as a family we can all be together with Heavenly Father and His Son and with them enjoy eternal life.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I like serving others, whether or not they are members of my church. I especially enjoy sharing my testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.
