Hi I'm Matthew Pena

I love to run, workout, fly RC planes, hope to move up to real planes, I play the guitar, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I ran cross country and track all 4 years of high school and one year at junior collage. Running and staying in shape is a passion of mine along with aviation. I am very interested in things that leave the earths surface. So far I've had the opportunity to fly a plane and also to jump out of one, I hope to some day be able to fly for the Air Force. Other hobbies of mine is hanging out with friends and having a good time with people I know I can trust. Music is a major part in my life, I enjoy music from classic and hard rock to blue grass and Celtic. I have been playing the guitar for the past three years now and have played around in some jam sessions with friends. I have one younger brother who is going into high school and is playing foot ball. My dad is a mechanical engineer and is also from Arizona while my Mother is studying to be nurse and she is from New Hampshire.

Why I am a Mormon

I was mostly brought up in the church but when I was younger my mother was not a member and my dad was very inactive in the church. It was not tell after the missionaries nocked on our door that my mom was baptized and my dad came back in, and being able to watch both of them through out that entire process and how they continue to live faithfully has been a major influence on me. And as I continue on I have began to see all the little things that have been a huge impact and have been a huge blessing to me. Every thing in this church makes since and just seams right and I know that the teachings of Jesus Christ are what is needed in not only my life but in other lives all around the globe.

How I live my faith

I live my faith mostly through who I choose to surround my self with. I try and avoid any one who would have no respect for who I am and my believes. I also live my faith by being open to discuss my personal beliefs with any one who asks or is wondering what it is I believe as a Mormon.
